Jacob Gamble

Jacob Gamble Strategic Advisor & Head of Advisory Board

Mr. Gamble is a Strategic Advisor and Head of Advisory Board at AACM. Mr. Gamble has more than 20 years of combined experience in management consulting, growth initiatives, and corporate communications. Mr. Gamble rose to the level of Vice President of Fisher Investments, overseeing a 3.3-billion-dollar business line during his 13-year period with the company. He then worked as a Managing Director at Paulson Investment Company, a highly esteemed investment bank focused on the small to mid-cap markets, and as Paulson’s top executive at Big Bear Capital (an affiliated hedge fund), where he successfully merged Big Bear with a structured debt hedge fund before taking on the CEO position with a publicly traded multi-state drug rehabilitation franchise.

While CEO, Mr. Gamble completed a full-scale corporate reorganization before moving to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Gamble graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Biology and from Florida Institute of Technology with an M.S. in Management.

Ariel Imas

Ariel Imas Advisory Board Member

Mr. Imas has over 20 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience focused on the lower-middle markets. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed over 250 transactions and spearheaded capital raises exceeding $2 billion dollars from institutional investors via PIPEs, secondaries, follow-ons, registered directs, CMPOs, IPOs and M&A. Mr. Imas has also provided strategic advisory services for dozens of partner companies. Additionally, Mr. Imas has paved the way for several successful entrepreneurial ventures, one of which he co-founded by the name of The Glimpse Group and eventually took public in July 2021 under the ticker Nasdaq:VRAR. Mr. Imas currently holds the series 7, 24, 63, and 79 registrations.

Damian Kunko

Damian Kunko Advisory Board Member

Damian Kunko, is a government relations expert who has been assisting companies, trade associations, and universities develop federal funding and policy strategies since 1996. Damian’s specific expertise is assisting clients develop new technologies and creating policies that incentivize their deployment in the Energy and Defense sectors.

During his career, Damian has secured over $1 billion in federal funding for clients and has led the formation of several national trade organizations and advocacy coalitions. He has extensive experience advancing public policy and federal financing initiatives for a variety of industries including: offshore/undersea energy, propulsion, security systems, water power, wildfire resiliency, advanced materials (composites and specialty alloys) for ground, ship and aerospace systems, advanced/additive manufacturing, medical research, and environmental technologies. Prior to joining SMI, Damian lobbied for a variety of rural telecommunications, mobile medical, and information systems clients. He also served on the staff of a Member of Congress from Washington State.

Damian holds a B.A. in Political Science from Washington State University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Grant Smith

Grant Smith Advisory Board Member

Mr. Smith has more than 25 years of combined experience in Business Development, Sales and Marketing, and Executive Management. Mr. Smith brings substantial operating, integration, and M&A experience as a Strategic Advisor at AACM. Mr. Smith built RFI Canada and later sold the company to Pond Technologies.

Mr. Smith then started Pond Naturals, the nutraceutical division of Pond Technologies wellness division, and now serves as Pond Technologies CEO. Mr. Smith brings a unique dimension to the team, with broad knowledge of the CPG space and operating expertise. Mr. Smith graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours B.Sc. in Human Nutrition and a minor in Human Kinetics.

Brett Harvey

Brett Harvey Advisory Board Member

Mr. Harvey is among the Strategic Advisory Board at AACM. Mr. Harvey brings experience from the Asset Management Industry where he currently holds a position at one of Canada’s largest financial services companies as an Inside Wholesaler. Mr. Harvey holds an M.B.A. and an Honours B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Charleston. During his M.B.A., Mr. Harvey oversaw the program’s consulting initiative, where the team provided advice and guidance to companies within the microcap space. During Mr. Harvey’s tenure at the University of Charleston, he participated as a member of the golf team as well as volunteered at a non-profit organization where he oversaw financial operations and fundraising.

Connor Chalk

Mr. Chalk is an accomplished economics and finance professional with a proven track record in capital markets, financial consulting, and the Canadian banking sector. With extensive experience and a robust academic background, he stands out in the finance industry for his exceptional analytical prowess and effective communication skills. Armed with a solid educational foundation, he excels in quantitative financial modeling, leveraging data-driven insights to guide investment decisions. Mr. Chalk’s proficiency in financial and managerial accounting, combined with his statistical acumen, equips him with a unique perspective for navigating complex retail and institutional investments.

With deep knowledge of research methodologies and asset management strategies, Mr. Chalk is a sought-after advisor in the finance sector. His dynamic career trajectory, encompassing roles at Toronto Dominion Bank, Watson & Associates and a Fintech Startup, reflects his commitment to innovation and staying at the forefront of industry trends. Mr. Chalk holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Economics & Finance from the University of Guelph with an emphasis in finance, as well as his Canadian Securities designation.
